Mida Solutions is proud to announce its new reseller agreement with Iskratel, the Slovenian ICT provider with over 70 years of experience, currently active in over 50 countries especially in Eastern Europe.

The two companies’ missions are both focused on creating new added-value experiences for their customers, providing safety and improving their businesses thanks to their high-quality services. This year we have strengthened our partnership thanks also to some training sessions, organized for Iskratel’s technicians and organized by our team of Engineers in our office in Padua.
The Iskratel Dispatching System that handles incoming calls is well-integrated with Mida Voice Recording System in this new agreement. These two products had already successfully been integrated into the Huawei Digital Railway Solution in 2016, in which they interfaced with Huawei GSM-R System.
Mida Solutions and Iskratel now are also working together on new opportunities in Turkey.

Microsoft Teams Updates for Education
Padua, 24th June 2020 - Microsoft Teams has announced new features specifically designed to support the Education market, which in the last months has been struggling to enable distance and hybrid learning.
Microsoft’s mission, also in the forthcoming months, is to explore and implement new ways for Teams to support both student engagement and professional development.
Developers have collected customers’ thoughts and ideas to create a profitable online learning experience that could include tools to maximize the engagement of students in the lessons, to increase student-to-student collaboration and to facilitate teaching.
Microsoft announced it is going to release 20 new updates in the next few weeks. Here’s a selection of the most interesting ones:
- Just like in a physical classroom, students and educators will see many other attendees simultaneously: up to 49 attendees in a 7x7 class meeting view. This feature is a breakthrough because it will allow the whole class to work together and to create virtual breakout rooms if needed. Students can collaborate in smaller groups on a discussion or assignment and then easily come back to the larger group. This preview will be available at the end of June.
- Class insight tab is the feature designed to let educators focus on the interaction with the students: intelligent data analytics register hoe they are engaging and interacting in Teams meetings. This is already available.
- To help students keep their focus constant teachers can now eliminate distractions and create a personalized background. You can upload any image also related to your teaching, and in late June Microsoft announces fun new education-themed backgrounds.

MICROSOFT INVESTS 1.5 BILLION IN ITALY
Microsoft has planned to invest 1.5 billion in Italy in the next 5 years, for activities aimed to accelerate the digital transformation including the promotion of cloud services, digital training, and reskilling programs, promotion of local partnerships for the innovation of Italian companies, and on a new alliance for sustainability.
The first Microsoft Data Center city in Italy will be Milan.
The program "Ambition Italy #Digital restart" has been enthusiastically presented by Jean-Philippe Courtois, executive vice president, and president, Microsoft Global Sales, Marketing, and Operations. He’s fully convinced that this program - the extension of 2018

will be a chance for entrepreneurs and SMEs to take advantage of cloud computing, AI, and digital training programs, to take their business to the next level. They will have access to the "AI Hub" laboratories and programs specifically designed for them, having access to local Cloud Services thanks to the partnership with Poste Italiane.
The initiative has been received positively also by the Italian Government, which believes that it fits perfectly in the wider technology innovation and eco-sustainability frame planned to relaunch the Country Economy.

COMMSVERSE ONLINE 6 - 9 JULY 2020
Unfortunately, like many other events, also Commsverse will take place in digital format, due to the current uncertain situation caused by COVID-19 virus. The new days for the online version are July 6th-9th.
Commsverse is a community Microsoft Teams Conference organizes independently by experts in Microsoft Collaboration and Communication areas.
The virtual event was designed to bring to light the best solutions for Microsoft Teams and recreate an online experience that is as similar as possible to the one that was supposed to take place in Weybridge.
During the event, there will also be a virtual reality room where you can meet the other exhibitors and participants "physically". This will include a private space and a new way of reaching and interacting with people.
By registering for the online conference, you will have the chance to “visit” over 30 exhibitors’ booths, and ask them anything you need to know about their solutions, or even ask them for a consultation. You will have access to hundreds of live sessions covering the entire Microsoft Teams ecosystem.
