Archiver
What is the Archiver?
The Archiver is part of Mida Voice & Video Recorder. For very simple installations, it can be the one and only server which builds up the solution. In more complex projects it is combined with the Gateway component.
Basically, it is a machine where recorded call files and their metadata are stored, keeping track also of the related file path and the file name linked to each recording. Recorded calls are compressed, encrypted, stored, and organized in a set of system directories to ensure data protection. Only agents with authorized accounts can access and be able to listen to them.
From Mida Voice & Video Recorder it is possible to set up periodical automatic backups and also set an alternative backup component like a NAS or cloud storage like Azure.
